Ivan joins our firm as a Financial Planning Associate with a diverse background that includes both professional athletics and financial services. He holds the Series 7 and 63 licenses and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.
Originally from São Paulo, Brazil, he moved to the U.S. for college and attended the University of Maryland, where he played Division I soccer and was part of the team that won the Big Ten title in 2015. He was drafted by the Houston Dynamo in 2016 and went on to play professionally until 2021. Since transitioning from sports, he has gained experience at Fidelity and with a private client group team at Northwestern Mutual.
Now based in the DMV area, he enjoys staying active, watching and playing sports, traveling, and spending time with his wife Sarah, their son Edison, and their dog Dewey.
